I thank God for you!!!
We had our GCC wide Vision gathering today. I am so thankful for many who are serving this year across the different sites. Some of you have positions but many of you just serve where you can...Thank You. What you do is a blessing!!!
The leadership team prayed and we went out to do some spiritual surveys...we were praying that some of the encounters would lead to divine appointments. I am hearing some good news about the outing today. Praise God!!! The weather definitely was nice to walk around the different campuses. I think it is good to be out there trying to share our faith and asking people what they are thinking during the holidays. Let's keep praying that more people will come to a personal relationship with Jesus through our ministry this coming year. Thanks again for many of you who are praying and serving GCC...what you do is a blessing!!!

Woke up at 5am
So I am sleeping and then suddenly I woke up....I was first thinking I am cold...Annette took my blanket...then I got this crazy thought out of the blue at 5am. It came out of nowhere...I asked, "Lord is that you?" Not sure...yet... thought kept me up and I could not get any sleep. It is going to be a long day today. I have staff meeting and a couple of phone conferences and then the the prayer meeting. I love it.
I got lots to pray about tonight.

Missions Sunday
Tomorrow we will be praying for the missionaries that we support. We will also collect a missions offering in response to our prayer time. I have been looking over the missions powerpoints and I am convicted that we need to pray more for those who are partners with us for the gospel. Let us bless them in prayer as a church. I am so glad that many in GCC believe in the power of Biblical prayer.
It is always interesting to me that people really don't come to church on Sunday to pray.
If you make them pray more than a few minutes... I have seen people get uncomfortable and some even offended...of course not at GCC... I hope I have gotten us out of that kind of thinking.
I remember Jesus telling us that the church is God's house. He also said that the house of God is the house of prayer. I believe we need to really pray for the missionaries that we support. We don't pray enough for them. I am not talking about performance driven prayer. I am talking about God honoring prayer that will support and even open doors for missionaries that we support.
Please come tomorrow to participate with us in praying for our missionaries. They need it and we want to lift them up to the Jesus. I am so glad that God is restoring a heart of prayer in GCC. I really want to reach the world with our prayers tomorrow. Come join us!!! Be ready to pray and be ready to give.
Also remember for UC site we will be meeting at Bossone on Drexel Campus.
Bossone Center is found on 32nd and Market

Two Awesome Weekends
I am feeling great about this years ministry. I thank God for His grace and favor. God has been blessing us in so many different ways. I am so thankful for the Staff at GCC. I am so thankful for those who serve at GCC. I am so thankful for those who come to GCC. Yes, you can tell I am thankful. I thank God for His Faithfulness.
The last two weekends have been a great blessing to me. Dr. Steve came to the Mainline Retreat and God used him to minister to us. Then this weekend Pastor Sam Lee came by for Passion and it as a powerful time of prayer. Of course I was blessed by how God used them to speak the Word of God into our church. But even more I am so thankful my relationship with them. They are two men that have deeply influenced and encouraged me as a friend. They have been true brothers for Christ in my life. I thank God for such partnership in the gospel ministry. It gets lonely doing ministry and I thank God for GCC and for some great godly friends. I pray God will bless you with a church you love and friends that will encourage to keep loving Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
6being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Here are some pictures from the Mainline/Unleased Retreat....

Join Us Tonight!!!
Tonight is the last night of our Passion Revival. It has been very blessing and I want to encourage you to join us or pray for us. It has been really blessing and encouraging to have Pastor Sam Lee minister to our church. I have know him pretty much all my life and I am so blessed by his passion for Jesus. May we at GCC fly like Eagles on the wind of the Holy Spirit...if you were there last night you know what I am talking about!!!!

Isaiah 40
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
