  • Recovering

I left Revolution around 12:30am and got to my hotel by 1am.  Pastor Mark Chun and I talked a little and I had to wake up at 4:30am to make my flight.  I was so tired on the plane I must have looked silly with my head going up and down. I got home and took a quick shower and went to Mainline site with my family and my sister's family.  It as been pretty fun and hectic with my sister's family around.

I did get to play a pick up game of soccer around my neighborhood. It was fun but I am still recovering from it.  I think I need to go see the doctor about my back. It really is not doing well. I got acupuncture done in Chicago but I think it only helped a little.  I actually stand with a slight slant. This is not good.

The rest of the week is filled with a staff meeting, spending time with my sister's family, and a road trip to see Annette and Daniel. They are at the Meadowmount school of music.

The Meadowmount School of Music is a 7-week summer school for accomplished young violinists, violists, cellists, and pianists training for professional careers in music. Students ranging in age from 8 to 30 come from all parts of the United States and the world to this quiet mountain setting in New York State for rigorous practice and coaching on their instruments and in chamber music.

Students have the opportunity to work with an outstanding faculty and an excellent staff of pianists. Performance opportunities are given in weekly master classes and three concerts each week, open to the public. The school's distinguished alumni include Joshua Bell, Kyung-Wha Chung, Lynn Harrell, Jaime Laredo, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, and Pinchas Zukerman.
